Blue, with a hint of
yellow/brown alongside the pupil
Height:
5'4 (165 cm)

Hopeless dream-chaser. He's a happy going type, full of energy and weird ideas. He tends to go very enthusiastic whenever he's got something going on. When it comes to his family he is sometimes a bit careless. Sure, he prioritates his wife and daughter to the highest extent, but when he gets a weird idea/invention, it's prioiritated above all.
Characteristics:
Long curly hair (sometimes wear it in a ponytail. Very characteristic jaw/chin and a bit of a chubby nose. (See references.) Thick eyebrows and sideburns.

Just about anything. He doesn't care much for fashion, some people like to bug him about dressing a bit "outdated". Nonetheless, it suits him.

Information:
Lorentz works at the seaport storage together with Denilou, Fozt and Edmund.
Yup, you are right; sounds like a very boring life, until the day something increddibly weird was delivered to the marina, from where they cannot proceed their work until it is thoroughly investigated. They contact the local labs in their city, and this is where their journey starts...

In the beginning of the story, you find Lorentz struggling to help his close friend Fozt through his family- and alcoholic problems. But since the day they got that weird delivery on their job, they are suddenly on the verge to prevent a nonexistant war. (K: Sounds complicated, well, I put it like this to not spoil too much. I am printing this to a comic series after all. :))

Lorentz is married to Merleva, has a daughter, Tova, and a pet parrot (it has no name, but he calls it the "shout-machine". "brölmaskinen" in Swedish). Lorentz is a hopeless dreamer. Though he's got a rather lousy not-so-well-paid job, he keeps on chasing dreams and get weird ideas he wants to fullfill. Chasing dreams and trying to fullfill the weirdest ideas ever, annoys his wife to no end - - she tries to make him stop, not only because it annoys her, but because she is worried of his health (he suffers severe astmah) and about their daughter - who looks up to Lorentz, and wants to become like him.

And what kinda "brilliant ideas" do you think I am talking about?? I can't spoil anything, but he is like a man with the soul of a child. Never gives up, even if things he invented ended up doing the oposite thing it was supposed to: he simply never gives up. Like I said, in the beginning of the story he struggles to help his friend through a very tough part of his life - and Lorentz is doing this in his own way: moving into his friend's apartment, with the daughter tagging along - all to poor Merleva's disapprovement.

Lorentz once was an elite swimmer, but he had to quit because of his health issues. He's always been a smart person, so his father (who's a doctor) suggested him to educate into a doctor, both to help him through his health issues and to get a decent income. This lead Lorentz to take a big turn in his life, from being a very active and smart kid, he dropped out from everything. He had said: "I am not going to sneak around my problems, I will live through them because that's who I am." The reason for his choice wasn't only stupidity, but because of his somewhat bad relation to his father. When he had to drop out from swimming, he lost the spark and decided to do just about whatever he wanted.

Ironically, refering to the quoted text that he'd said to his father, he doesn't like other's to know about his health issues. For instance, he'd never tell someone who doesn't know about it to stop smoking in his presence. Fozt knows about it though, because he's a childhood friend and a swimmer-pal and he was there when Lo had to quit.
