Personality: Cautious control freak, caring mother, worries too much.
Characteristics: Long beautiful "golden" hair, her bangs tends to fall to one side (see refferences), but she tries to "control" it, lo make it fall like it does on the profile drawing to the left. She is kinda thin - is a little taller than her husband (hah!).
Clothing: Very casual stuff, she likes the color blue and long-sleeves.

Information: Lorentz' wife Merleva, they met long ago at a festival, and have been together ever since. They have one daughter together, Tova, she looks very much like Merleva, but acts more like Lorentz (she looks up to her father, obviously.)

Merleva worries way too much, and every time Lorentz is up to something not to her liking, she goes insane, close to exploding. Lorentz always finds a way around all that, and eventually Merleva realizes that even though Lorentz is really hard to stand at times, the reasons to love him makes up for it.
She is also the over protective kind. This brings both Tova and Lorentz to madness, as they both take things as they come even if it would mean complete mess (Yeh, Lorentz is like a kid at heart too...).

In the world of Försupen, it's rare for a woman to have a job, but Merleva has one: she runs her own candy-store. A couple of years ago she found out that Lorentz has had a hard time to keep up with work because of his health, and even though he says things will work out, she thought she'd start taking care of the problem herself. With some help from an old friend, she opens a candy store. It doesn't give a lot of income, but it helps whenever Lorentz isn't able to bring the pay-check they need.

Even if Merleva and Lorentz is one of those couples that uninvolved people would like to judge as a mess, they are perfect for eachother. They know that a relationship isn't magically going to be perfect, it constantly needs work, and that's what makes their moments worth it. There is a philosphy saying that people are like pointy rocks - and when two people start to live together, both rocks has to grind equally to become smooth (to adapt to eachother), and that's the philosophy they try to live after. Even though Lorentz himself admits that he can be rather hopeless sometimes when it comes to his ideas and inventions.

Relation to other characters: Husband Lorentz and daughter Tova of course. She also tends to see Denilou a lot too, since her little shop is one of his favourite "stop-by"s. Denilou likes to joke about that it's so strange that someone as "shabby" as Lorentz has such a "hot young looking babe for wife!" - Lorentz likes to joke "she is too old for you!!" or "you can have her", even in her presence. That's the kind of humor they have. Fozt is a friend of Lorentz, thus friend of hers. Edmund is someone she sees occationally, when she decides to come with Lorentz when he and his comrades are enjoying a beer/coffee/etc on a friday night.
