Hello,
anyone can join LANDS' oekaki board. First, to make some things clear. Who are LANDS? We are Karrey and Aggi - please pay us and other admins respect, we do all we can to make this place an enjoyable oekakibbs for everyone. :)
Here's simple rules to follow, simply to make it good around here.
1. Be nice!
2. Put effort in your work!
3. Make sure to put "adult" option on if your drawing is offensive!
4. Keep unnecessary emoness, vents, politics, religious discussion out of this board, please. If you feel down, it's ok to take it out on a drawing, but keep in mind we're here to develope en encourage eachother in art, not to vent about personal life. Drawings of all kinds are welcome (sad, expressive, dark, joyful, hyper etc.), but keep the drama of your personal stuff out, please. I am sure there are other forums you can rant about that kind of stuff. :) This is an art related place. I know inspiration is connected to personal life and emotions, but it's other ways of handling such problems than to let it out in a public drawing bbs.
5. Keep in mind that when we talk about "offensive" stuff, it's weak aspects. Shounen-ai/shoujo-ai, tasteful nudity could be offensive to some people but is allowed here. However we don't support extreme pointless porn, even in xxx protection - - our board stands for artistic creation. I think it's easy for someone with common manners to tell the difference from tasteful semi-porn/nudity and hardcore pointless porn. If not, feel free to pm us. We will write more details around this when we find the time. (One example: a picture where two people are making love and the centre is the PASSION is TASTEFUL; while the centre of the picture is to draw the privates as porn-y as possible is NOT tasteful.)
6. Furthermore you will need to provide an URL to your gallery or a drawing that YOU MADE when you register.
7. If you want critique - simply ask for it in your comment. This place is for artists to experiment and improve after all. :)
8. Have fun!
Points of common sense that obviously need to be followed to keep this place alive and motivating for fellow artists.
1. Comment frequently. (Everyone needs supportive words)
2. Please, draw at least once a month, or you might be deleted.
3. Don't draw more than three times a day.
