CHAPTER 13: Family

Well this is just one hell of a boring chapter! Everything is so serious, I even had to discuss boring stuff like Meros wanting to get a part-time job, but that had a purpose: I wanted to casually bring up the fact that Thanat quit his job as a teacher. He quit by himself before he gets fired for dating a student. Yeah, Thanat’s smarter than that ;)

I would have liked to elaborate a little more on Thanat’s past, especially on the relationship he has with his aunt, Nokil. They’re really close, even though Thanat has trouble dealing with her numerous pieces of advice... and very authoritative attitude when she’s at work lol. Here’s how I pictured it:

· Thanat’s mother died of illness when he was 5-7 years old.

· Thanat’s father is a workaholic who’s constantly away on business trips; he’s never really cared for children, not even his own son.

· When Thanat’s mother died, Nokil (his mother’s sister) took him in and cared for him.

· Thanat was a very independent child, he moved out of his aunt’s at 16-18 years old.

· Nokil did not oppose to Thanat moving out; she offered him a pet in order to keep him company: Crocro!

· Thanat and Nokil have been keeping in touch.

Nokil is very nice in reality!

...and yes, I’m aware that what I just described about Nokil being Thanat’s MOTHER’s sister is wrong compared to SM (Chapter 5), but if I had to redo chapter 5, I would do it differently... ^^;;;;;; No script = a big mess!!!! If it bothers you that much, just ignore what you just read and keep believing Nokil is Thanat’s father’s sister, it’s doesn’t matter... lol
